eventsPad.com Beta 2 Launched

eventsPad.com Free memberships are still growing rapidly and we're collecting a lot of great Feedback, thank you! One of the strongest areas of Feedback has been around personalization; specifically, viewing events you marked an interest in and tracking your friends network. So, in addition to a few of bug fixes, we've added our first version of the My Events page. It's still in the works as we add more friend networking and messaging functionality, but this first look should illustrate the direction we're going in.

Other areas of Feedback focused on our internationalization support. At the moment we're still ramping up that effort. We currently have the framework in place for foreign countries, but we dont have any event data or tags yet, so it appears empty. We plan to rollout European support first, then Asian support. The changes will include language localization, time zone adjustments, and a PR push to recruit event postings.

Overall, we're all very busy here as we continue to add the improvements you're asking for. We're aiming to move out of Beta and into full release before the Winter holidays. So again, if you have suggestions or feedback, please submit from them from our homepage at http://www.eventspad.com/ .

eventsPad.com Beta Launch

eventsPad.com has just announced public Beta. Now, anyone is free to visit eventsPad.com to search for exciting local events or join to add content to event descriptions and add images and video. The online service came to life as result of searching for great online event resources. There are a lot of different ways to find events, but none that really pull everything together.

The Beta launch of eventsPad is the first step in a long evolution of the ideal events website. It offers a lot for a first release, including rich-media event listings with images, video, mapping, user ratings, web bookmarking, send to friend ability, and full description editing. You can also search for events by city, by date, by keyword tag, and by search text.

There are many more features already in the works (and even undergoing internal Alpha testing). We're looking at tighter integration with other online services to even better enhance event listings. eventsPad Verion 1 should be officially launched by early October. But for now, we're off to a solid launch with about a hundred registered members, and regular new event postings daily. More details to come in the following weeks. In the meantime, if you have any suggestions, be sure to visit http://www.eventspad.com and enter your feedback on our homepage. We working hard to incorporate as much feedback as possible.
